Step 1: Create the following three segments:

  1. Segment 1: Session Type - Dealer Only
  2. Segment 2: Session Type - Express & Dealer
  3. Segment 3: Session Type - Express Only

With the three segments applied, navigate to the Acquisition > Top Channels report.

  • 1,262,115 users had a session where they saw both the dealer main site and the ES
  • 1,026,417 users had a session where they only saw the ES.

How do Roadster conversions look between the three segments?

Note: Dealer sessions aren't going to have any conversions on the Express Store because these users never made it there.

Users who navigate into the Express Store from the dealer main site see the highest conversion rates on Roadster, indicating higher levels of interest in placing an order

  • VDP Engagement: 28.35%
  • Lead Submission: 10.64%
  • Purchase Started: 3.66%
  • Purchase Placed: 0.85%

Users who only had a session on the Express Store still have good conversion rates, but not quite as high as users who see both the dealer site and Express Store

  • VDP Engagement: 19.35%
  • Lead Submission: 8.92%
  • Purchase Started: 2.09%
  • Purchase Placed: 0.82%

Overall, the easier you can make it for customers to get into the Express Store is only going to benefit you in the long run and increase the likelihood of getting more more conversions.
