GTM Not Loading on Certain Pages

Question: I’m not seeing my GTM container on certain pages (ex. credit applications and payment forms). How do I get my GTM on these pages?  

Answer: As a security policy, Roadster does not allow any scripts (including GTM containers) on any page that accepts confidential customer credit applications or pages that accept credit card payments. Our security team enforces this because hackers could theoretically get access to a customer’s GTM account and insert keyloggers that collect confidential information. Each of these fire-walled pages have a success page that comes after the firewalled page and fires events informing you whether or not the car buyer completed the prior step or not. So, you aren’t losing information - you just need to collect the events on the next page. 

These are the pages we prevent GTM from loading on:

• /trade-in/contact
• /checkout/customer
• /pre-approve/contact
• /pre-approve/credit-application

Despite blocking GTM on these pages, we still make it possible for you to track what is happening here. All we need from you is your GA ID(s) so that we can push pageviews and events directly from our side.
