Roadster now supports GA4 tracking! If you want to start taking advantage of this and running it in parallel with Universal Analytics, please reach out to your Success Manager, or email analytics@roadster.com to help get you setup. Our GA4 integration works the exact same way as Universal Analytics:
- If you want to use our native turnkey integration, simply provide us your GA4 Measurement ID and we will start sending you GA4 events automatically,
- If you use GTM, we have updated our *JSON* file to include our recommended, preconfigured Roadster GA4 tagging. Simply download this file and merge the GA4 updates into your workspace.
In Case You Missed:
On March 16, 2022 Google officially announced that they will sunset Universal Analytics (current GA) on July 1, 2023, for GA4. What this means is that on this date, Universal Analytics will stop processing new hits. If you do not have GA4 setup yet, make sure you do ASAP so you are ready for this change.
